These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Today mobile application (“Today” or the “App”), operated by Jehron Petty (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Today. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You may only maintain one account.
  • You must provide accurate information when setting up your profile.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create on Today, including posts, comments, images, and reactions (“User Content”).

License

By posting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content to your friends and other authorized users within the App, solely for the purpose of operating the service.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the right to post all content you share and that your content does not violate any third party’s rights.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Today to:

  • Harass or bully other users.
  • Post spam or unsolicited promotional content.
  • Share inappropriate content, including sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or illegal content.
  • Engage in hate speech or promote discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or other protected characteristics.
  • Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity.
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data without authorization.
  • Interfere with the App’s operation, including attempting to circumvent security features.
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose.

Content Moderation

  • Users can report content that violates these Terms. Report categories include spam, harassment, inappropriate content, hate speech, and other violations.
  • Users can block other users to prevent them from viewing their content or interacting with them.
  • We reserve the right to review reported content and take action, including removing content or suspending accounts, at our sole discretion.
  • We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to enforce these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is the intellectual property of Jehron Petty and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Privacy

Your use of Today is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Disclaimers

  • The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any User Content.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical issues, though we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jehron Petty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is less.

Account Termination

By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App’s settings. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, including your profile, posts, comments, reactions, and friendships. This action cannot be undone.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Repeated violations of the Acceptable Use policy.
  • Posting content that is illegal or harmful.
  • Attempting to compromise the security of the App or other users’ accounts.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases requiring immediate action.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable law.
